On a cold and dark winters night this place was full. That's a pretty good sign. Had the pizza (Vito's special) and a Caesar salad.
Caesar - only the nice crunchy parts of the romaine! Nice! It came with quite a bit of dressing but tasty. Think I found actual garlic bits in the dressing.
Pizza - very filling. Well cooked and they certainly don't skimp on the toppings. Cheese seemed good quality - not oily. Weirdly the dough itself seemed lopsided on our pizza so that one side was sort of thick crust while the other half was a thinner crust. It did tell me that their dough was home made. Quite tasty and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and attentive for a busy night. Will have to go back and try one of their pastas. -

We've been camping at Silent Lake the past few years and make our way into Bancroft each time. I've seen this restaurant numerous times and decided to stop here for lunch on our own at back into town after visiting the Eagle's Nest. The restaurant is cozy with a warm interior and can accommodate small and larger groups. Servers are friendly and attentive. The menu has your basic Italian classics and they only serve Pepsi products. Our table ordered 2 veal parm dinners and kids lasanga and fries. The kids lasanga was a pretty decent portion which could pass as an adult portion. The veal parm plate was enormous and included spaghetti with meat sauce, fries, coleslaw and garlic bread. The veal was really good with a thick layer of cheese. Their sauce is good, very heartly with a little tang. The fries are steak cut and very good also. I would recommend coming here for a meal if you're in town and looking for some great comfort food. Will need to try their homemade pizza next time!

The meal was certainly acceptable, if a little unusual. Besides the Veal Parmesan and the penne, they also served French fries. (There was more French fries than pasta!) The taste was good and the service was good.

The best pizza I've ever tasted! Seriously. Also I highly recommend the Caesars salad. Great staff. We had Kimberley and she was very friendly. A popular place with the locals. Real authentic Italian food. Worth the drive from London, Ontario.
